1. Local Storage and Preferences
Some site state is kept in your browser rather than in an AIGCDev account:
- Favorites/Bookmarks: Your favorites list is stored in your browser's localStorage. When Google Analytics is enabled, adding or removing a favorite also sends the tool identifier and the add/remove action as an analytics event, as described below.
- Language: The language you select is represented in the page URL. We do not maintain a separate language preference in a user account.
2. Usage Data and Analytics
When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand site usage. Google Analytics receives page views and selected interactions, including tool-card clicks, outbound tool clicks, and favorite add/remove events. Depending on your browser and Google's configuration, this processing may use cookies or similar identifiers and may include engagement, referring website, device and browser information, and approximate location. Google processes this information under its Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare provides network delivery and hosting infrastructure for this site, so requests are processed through Cloudflare and may include standard request information such as IP address, browser details, requested path, and timestamps. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page-view, visit, referrer, device, country, and performance reporting. Cloudflare describes this analytics service as not using cookies or localStorage and as not collecting or using visitors' personal data. Cloudflare processes information under its Privacy Policy; technical details are available in its Web Analytics documentation.
3. External Logo Services
Pages that display tool logos request them from Google Favicons and, when a fallback is needed, Unavatar. These requests are made by your browser and may disclose standard request information, including your IP address, browser details, and the tool domain being requested. We configure logo requests not to send the referring page. Data handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Unavatar Privacy Policy.
4. Third-Party Links
Our directory contains links to third-party AI tools and websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any service you visit.
5. AI Tool Context
AI Tools Directory is a curation platform. We do not develop the tools listed, nor do we process or train AI models using your usage data from this site.
